Foreign students who want to study in any of the institutions in Argentina are the eligible candidates for this visa. Students who intend to pursue non-formal studies, student exchange programs and partial studies that will not last more than 90 days are to obtain a tourist visa instead. Every applicant has to provide a letter of acceptance from the institution they have been admitted into. This letter should be written on the institution's letterhead and signed by the head of the institution. A police report which shows you don't have any criminal record, translated to Spanish and authenticated by the Argentine embassy or consulate is required.  You have to provide proof of tuition fee payment for the duration of your study.  Vietnamese students are allowed to work part-time for 20 hours when school is in session and full-time when school is on break. Foreign students are expected to present certificates and transcripts from their previously attended schools.  An evidence of your financial sufficiency covering the applicant's stay and study expenses for the duration of study is necessary.  Students who are under 18 years old are to submit the original copy of their birth certificate along with a letter of consent signed by both parents during the visa application.  Receipt of paid visa application fee should be provided. The immigration officer will give you a preliminary certificate of residence or the "certificado de residencia precaria," after your documents have been approved.  After 20 days, you are expected to return to the immigration office to pick up your official student visa document. After six months of studying in Argentina, you will have to re-apply for another student visa. Foreign students are expected to exit Argentina to re-apply for a new student visa after a year.  A proof of language proficiency is needed.  All students are to provide a proof of their enrollment in an Argentine university.  

Belgian Student visa is for study purposes in Belgium.  The Belgian student visa has two categories: short and long term study visa.  A short-term student visa can be applied for the way Belgian tourist or short stay visas are applied for. Short-term student visa does not last more 90 days, applicants are expected to enrol in courses within that time frame.  Long-term students are primarily for a longer study stay in Belgium.  It lasts for more than 90 days.  You are expected to have at least 654 euros per month while studying in Belgium.  Those applying to study in Belgium are required to have health insurance.  A police report showing you have no criminal record in your home country is required.  Foreign students are not allowed to study and work in Belgium.  In case another person residing in Belgium will cover your expenses throughout your stay in Belgium, you are expected to submit a proof of sponsorship. 

Foreign students are expected to have a student visa which allows them to attend regular courses or participate in exchange or internship programmes. The Brazilian student visa allows for a multiple entry basis.  Citizens of Vietnam are allowed to take up legal employment in Brazil compatible with their course load. Foreign students are to submit documents that prove that they are financially sufficient. Applicants are to provide proof of payment of tuition fee.  Proof of health insurance which covers the applicant during the duration of stay is to be submitted.  Applicants applying for this visa are required to present a copy of their stay permit. Study programmes less than 90 days need a visitor’s visa instead. A letter of acceptance from the academic institution you have been accepted to is required. The letter should outline the nature of the study being undertaken in Brazil. Your police certificate certifying the absence of criminal record should not be more than three months old.  Minors are required to have their original birth certificate accompanied with a letter of consent signed by both their parents. A receipt that shows the payment of visa application fee has been made. The student visa is extendable within six months if the duration of their study is going to be longer.

Vietnamese citizens can study in any Canadian institution of learning with a study visa.  You must have accepted into a Canadian university before initiating your application.  As a Canadian student, you will have to obtain a Canadian study permit which would serve as a Canadian student visa for the duration of your stay.  A study permit is a document issued by the Canadian immigration authorities that serves as permission for foreign students to study in Canada.  The Canadian study permit can be renewed within Canada if you decide to continue your studies. Full-time foreign students registered at an accredited higher education institution with study permit are allowed to work part-time on campus. You may also be able to work off-campus, work as a co-op or intern as part of your program, stay in Canada as a permanent resident or seek employment after graduation.  The Canadian study permit can be applied either online or through a paper application obtainable from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website. Foreign students  who intend to study in Canada are to provide a copy of their criminal record in the form of a police clearance certificate. Paper applications typically take about twice as long, and it’s always recommended to check the processing times well in advance. A proof of medical condition is to be provided during the application process.  This is to prove you are in a good clean bill of health while you study for the duration of time.  Applicants are to provide biometric fingerprints during the application process.  Proficiency in the English language is a requirement. Most times accessed from your TOEFL or IELTS tests results. Applicants are to provide proof of part or full payment of tuition fees. Your original transcripts and certificates from previous schools are required to prove you are qualified to be enrolled. A proof of scholarship award is necessary Documents to prove your intended return to your home country.  A proof of paid visa application fee should be presented before you can be granted this visa. If your visa expires before the completion of your study, you are free to apply for an extension to cover the period of your study. A proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country should be provided. A proof of financial sufficiency that covers your tuition fees and living expenses during duration of stay.

Citizens of Vietnam are expected  to have a student visa if they wish to study in any of the institution in France.  A print out of your Campus France ID number is required during the visa application.  A letter of registration from the academic Institution you have been enrolled to is needed.  A cover letter explaining the study project and a CV Resume is to be among the list of other documents which is needed for the visa processing.  A proof of payment for your tuition fees a minimum of 615 Euros per month for the complete academic term is to be needed.  A  medical insurance with coverage worth of 30,000 euros  is required.  A copy of your round-trip airline ticket if you are studying for six months or less or a one-way ticket if you are studying in France for more than six month is to be provided.  A proof of residency in France such as a lease, electricity bill, title of the property, etc. for a minimum of three months or a hotel reservation Copies of your past  degree and academic diplomas, certificates in previous schools is to be presented during the visa application. Documents stating the accommodation arrangement during your studies is to be provided.  Your proficiency certificate in French language if you have enrolled in a French-taught course is to be submitted at the Embassy. A receipt which serves as proof of your visa fee payment is required.  Official enrollment or acceptance letter from the university is to be presented at Embassy or Consulate.  You will need apply for visa de court séjour étudiant concours if you are coming to France to write university entrance exams.  Citizens of Vietnam studying in France can renew their one year permit.  Foreign students can work in France for 964 hours annually. 

The Chinese student visa (X) is granted to foreign students  coming to China for study, advanced studies and fieldwork.  The Chinese student visa has two types; the X1 and X2 visa.  The X1 visa is a long term visa which permits holders to stay and study in China for more than 6 months while the X2 visa is issued to students to study in China for only six months.   Holders of this visa can study and work part-time during the duration of their stay.  Students can also apply for internships during the duration of their stay.  It is compulsory to apply for a temporary residence permit from the Public Security Bureau within 30 days upon entry into China while you are with an X1 visa.   The JW201 and JW202 forms are submitted during the X1 application process.  The JW201 and JW202 issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the notice of admission from your school are to be provided.  The JW201 / JW202 form is to be submitted at the consulate or embassy during your application for the Chinese student visa(X visa). The JW201 form is meant for those studying in China on a full scholarship while JW202  is for studying in China on a partial scholarship.  Minors will need to provide an original copy of their birth certificate.  A notarized letter of consent signed by both your parents should be part of the documents to be submitted too.   Mailed applications are rejected by most Chinese embassies or consulates, but acceptable in many CVASCs. The JW201 or JW202 form should be obtained through the school you are to enroll at. JW201 form is issued to international students dispatched by the government or funded by Chinese government scholarships while JW202 is for self-sponsored foreign students.  X1 visa holders are expected to apply for a Temporary Residence Permit from the local Exit and Entry Administration within 30 days of arrival into China. The temporary residence permit issued is valid for up to 5 years. Within the validity of the Temporary Residence Permit, students can travel in and out of mainland China freely.

The Ireland student visa is for foreign students who intend to study Ireland.  The student visa is valid for 90 days.  You can apply for a study visa up to 3 months before your date of arrival to Ireland. If you intend to apply for a course study that will run more than three months, then you will have to apply for long stay Ireland visa only for a single entry.  If you are visiting another state prior to travelling to Ireland, you must have the relevant visa for that state in your passport before applying for an Irish visa. You have to provide the Immigrant officer with two color passport-sized photographs valid not  more than 6 months old A full copy of all previous and current passports will be required to process your visa application.   However, you will have to provide a fully signed letter of application including your full contact details.  You will need to submit evidence showing that you were enrolled on a privately funded course.  Evidence showing any gaps in your educational history and grades would also be required.  As a student applying for an Irish Student Visa, you have to provide evidence of payment for the duration of your course of study.  If you intend to apply for an Irish visa, you will have to show evidence that you have the academic ability to follow your chosen course.  Applicants of a student visa need to provide proof of your fluency in English.  A private Medical Insurance is required to indicate that your medical fees during your study stay is already covered.  If you have been refused visa previously, an evidence will be required. 

Foreign students from Vietnam are eligible for this type of visa which allows holders to study in Italy.   This visa is also known as a 'Type D' Schengen visa. There are two types of Italian student visa: Short-stay study visa – this visa is valid for 90 days, applicants can study language courses with it for a short period of time.  Long-stay study –  this visa is valid for a year plus. It allows students to study for a long period of time.  A letter of acceptance from the institution you have been accepted into should be provided. The letter must be printed on the institution's letterhead and state the course the applicant will be studying. Certificates and transcripts of the previous schools applicants have attended are to provided.  Students are required to provide proof that they have financial support and should have at least € 448,07 per month for the academic year, a total of € 5824,91 per year. Student will need to apply for a work permit at a local immigration office in Italy to work part-time while studying.   Students under employment will need to sign an employment contract and show a copy at the immigration office. Within 8 working days, students are to apply for a residence permit. Students can apply at the post office of their city of residence in Italy. The residence visa permit can be renewed.  A proof of  proficiency in Italian or English is required. 

The student visa allows foreign students to study or enroll any German institution. Applicants of this visa are also expecting to get a response on his/her University Application in a University in Germany, Students who have enrolled in a Foundation Course before applying in a German University or needs to take a Foundation Course (Studienkolleg) are to prepare for the test  “Feststellungsprüfung” – qualification assessment examination. Those who intend to take up a Doctoral degree are eligible to apply for this visa type. With a student visa, you can engage in a research project in Germany.  A  letter of admission from the school you have been enrolled in must be provided Past certificates and transcripts of the schools you previously attended are necessary documents to be provided during the visa application process. If you are not a citizen of Guinea Bissau, a copy of your stay permit is required. Your proficiency in  German language or that you intend to take up a language course in Germany has to be proven. Holders of this visa can work while studying as long as it does not affect their study and time they put into studying.  The visa can be extended to the duration of your stay.  Minors travelling to Germany need a letter of consent signed both their parents.  If you intend to remain in Germany for more than 90 days, or 3 months you are expected to obtain also get a Residence Permit early enough after your arrival in Germany.a

Foreign students from Vietnam need a Japanese student visa to study in any institutions.  Students are ected to get a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) issued by the Ministry of Justice from their institution or school of admission. An international passport valid for at least six months is required.   One passport-sized photo  taken on a plain white background within 3 months prior to  application period. The passport photo should not be identical with any other one.   A photocopy of the passport is to be brought along for the application. A copy of the applicant's last school leaving certificate or transcript is needed during the visa processing. Documents to prove that applicants are being financially sponsored are to be submitted.   Students  are expected to have a minimum of  ¥3,000,000 or the equivalent in dollars. The income statements of the sponsor along with bank statements and scholarship award letters are required.  If the applicant's sponsor is resident in Japan, he or she is expected to submit a proof of residency in Japan. A student visa lets you stay in Japan for as long as 4 years or to the duration of study.

Foreign citizens who intend to travel to Hong Kong to study require a student visa. You would need a local sponsor who could sponsor your education. This sponsor could be an educational institution you are applying to or a resident who is financially capable of sponsoring your education. Your educational institution or University might help you find a local sponsor for you. In this case, ‘Declaration by Financial Sponsor’ form should be completed, signed and submitted for further process. You must have received an admission offer from a school in Hong Kong before you can apply for a student visa. You are required to fully complete and sign a visa application form with a passport-size photograph. An incomplete application form may delay the processing of your visa application. A photocopy of your passport's bio-data page is required. You must also submit a photocopy of your letter of admission from a university in Hong Kong and your letter of acceptance to the specific course. You should also submit a photocopy of your academic result along with transcripts, awards and certificates. If the school require that you write IELTS or a TOEFL, then you must provide proof of these qualifications. You must provide proof that you can cater to your financial needs for the entire duration of your stay in Hong Kong (that means you have approximately HK$120,000) by sending copies of your bank account statements from the last six months. You can also submit a sponsorship letter if someone else intends to sponsor your trip. If you are the recipient of a scholarship, student aid or similar grant, you are required to provide documents supporting this, showing your name, the monthly amount you are entitled to and the period during which you will receive the fund. You are required to provide proof of accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Hong Kong. You can submit an undertaking by your local host to provide you accommodation.

Foreign students can study in Switzerland with a student visa.   An acceptance letter by the University you have gain admission to is required for visa application. Switzerland recognizes has two  categories of  student visa types: The type C visa  is meant for short courses (summer schools, language schools) while type D visa is for long term study in Switzerland. The short term student visa lasts for only for three months. The type D visa is meant for courses that last longer than three months. Students  have obtain a residence permit from the cantonal migration offices within 14 days after your arrival if they intend to longer than three months. A proof of sufficient financial means for coverage of  your expenses while in Switzerland. You are expected to have at least 21,000 CHF or 19,200 EUR at the beginning of each year of studies. Foreign  students  are allowed to work  part-time work  during the semester. They can  work full-time during holidays. Students must have  lived in Switzerland for six months before they  can take a job fully  as a student. There are no specific language(including  Switzerland official languages Romansh) requirements for a study visa for Switzerland. On the other hand, universities will require proof of language proficiency when you apply. In some cases, the embassy will want to evaluate your language knowledge based on a short interview at the consulate or even an oral and written test. All required documents  should be written in French, German or English.  The following documents must be provided during the visa application: A passport with a validity of at least three months beyond the planned stay. A proof of payment of the registration and tuition fees (original and copy). A letter from the institution in case all expenses for the study will be covered by scholarship or loan.
